Hemp Seed Oil

Our hemp seed oil is 100% Australian and cold pressed from hemp seeds.

Hemp seed oil is high in polyunsaturated fats and has the perfect 1:3 ratio of the essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6.

It is best kept refrigerated or, for longer term storage, it can be frozen. One of the many benefits of hemp oil is that it will not turn to a solid in home freezer temperatures, and remains pourable.

It can be used on salads or in dressings and smoothies but do avoid in cooking as it has a smoke point of 150°C.

Hemp Flour

Our Australian hemp flour is made using the husks from the seed that still contain part of the seed kernel. The resulting powder provides a texture and fibre to many products and still contains on average 15% protein.

Hemp flour is an excellent addition to your baking, adding the benefit of hemp proteins and the excellent fibre content of the hemp seed.

Hemp flour doesn’t rise because of its high fibre content and lack of gluten, so you can’t bake with it alone; however, you can mix it with other flours. For a heavy loaf of bread, use a 3:1 ratio. If you’d like hemp flecks in your bread, a 7:1 ratio will achieve the desired results.

Hemp Protein Powder

Our hemp protein powder is a 100% Australian grown and processed plant protein with a valuable amino acid and omega acid profile. It is naturally gluten and lactose free and suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets.

Our hemp protein powder is made from hemp seeds which are cold-pressed and finely milled to produce a green to light brown powder with a minimum of 40% protein.

Hemp protein powder is very versatile and has many uses.  It can be used in smoothies and is also a popular choice for protein baking, lending itself well to muffins, breads and pizza bases.

Hemp protein offers a plant alternative to get a wide range of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and fibre as well as essential omega fatty acids into your diet.

To use, mix 20-30g with 250-300ml of liquid for a protein shake or in baking and cooking as required.

Hemp Seeds

Our Australian grown hemp seeds are the fruit or nut of the hemp plant. The husk is removed to leave a white, soft, creamy kernel with a fabulous nutty taste.

Hemp seeds are a great source of fibre, both soluble and insoluble, protein and essential fatty acids (omegas 3 and 6).

They can be eaten raw for a healthy snack or added to meals and snacks for a nutritional boost. Need some ideas? Add hemp seeds to cereals, salads, smoothies, dressings, granola, yogurt, porridge and avocado toast for a delicious and nutritious treat.
